Closeout Fabrics - Limited Stock

Closeout fabrics include bamboo and a blend of hemp and recycled materials.

100% Bamboo Woven Fleece, 10 oz.

I've let the downside of bamboo fabric be known, yet there are numerous environmental benefits, such as fast growing without fertilizers or pesticides. Bamboo requires very little water and is an extreme-weather survivor plant.

The softness and gentle-flowing hand is addictive. This is a double-sided fabric with one side fleeced, and the other side showing a shiny diamond pattern.

Perfect uses are blankets, diapers and sweat pants.

Shipped from Los Angeles, price is $7.50 per yard or $6.50 per yard for 50-plus yards. Width is 68 inches.

55% Hemp + 45% Recycled Polyester Twill, 8.5 oz.

Recycling reduces waste and energy, so you know it's a good thing. Hemp adds the strength while the recycled polyester gives it an even consistency.

This twill is excellent for jeans, jackets, rugged shirts, and shorts. Also good for caps, bags, and wallets. Does well for home interior applications, such as window coverings and shades.

Price is $7.50 per yard or $6.50 per yard for 50-plus yards. Width is 57 inches.

Whether you are looking for discounted closeouts or new and well-stocked materials, I can assist with 100% hemp or blend samples. Oh, and t-shirts too!

Bamboo Fabrics Got Greenwash Sentence

Around six years ago green-movement “insiders” corresponded about the upcoming bamboo fabric crash.

2008 August Sarah Compson of the Soil Association said they would be happy to certify bamboo if someone could come up with a sustainable method that goes all through the supply chain, not just the growing.
